Yes, Either the Salt rock is wet with water or your skin is moist, as in after a shower. This is so the salt is dissolved off the salt rock block onto your skin to do the job, of deodorising, relieving itches, treating pimples, cold sores, tinea and shaving rashes.
The Salt Rock works because of the mineral sulphates salts inhibit bacteria.
Since body odour is bacterial we are simply stopping the smell before it starts.
Again make wet with water and apply.
For itchy skin, make sure the skin is clean from oils and creams, give the itchy spot a little scratch with the wet salt rock. The itch usually goes in about two minutes and the inflammed skin reduces and the redness goes too.
For Pimples after you have washed the face and it is still moist, just rub the salt rock onto each pimple and leave. The pimple reduces in size and clears up super quickly.
For Cold Sores when you get that tickle or irritation, wet a small piece of salt rock ( value pack) and rub onto the cold sore tingle, repeat a few times a day even for a few days and you usually don't come out in the blister.
For Shaving Rashes wet your salt rock and apply before shaving, soap up and shave, wash off and reapply as an after shave, Usually stop sensitive skin shaving rashes, This is how our grandfathers used the salt rock (called a styptic pencil).
For Tinea Use the Deodorising shoe powder in your shoes as per instructions for smelly shoes, this also removes fungus hanging out in your shoes. After you shower or when you have wet feet rub the small chip salt rock around the affected area, often between the toes.
